Reflective spray paint, compare with reflective paint in cans, what to choose

"Why you don’t have the light-reflective spray paint in your product range?" is one of the frequently asked questions we get.

Of course, the advantages of an aerosol can are evident. One of them is that you just need to shake it up for applying paint.
Let’s see what the difference between the light-reflective spray paint and the canned reflective ones is.

An aerosol can is easy and comfortable.

Perhaps, the main advantage of spray paint is that it is easy to use. Such stages as preparing a surface and making paint almost are not needed.  Here are the usual steps: cleaning the surface of dust and dirt, then degreasing it, and finally applying a smooth reflective layer. One layer will be enough for the resistant coating, but the maximum is two.
Spray paints dry in 30-40 minutes.

On average, one spray paint can  is enough for about 1 – 1.5 sq m (if the layer is thick). It is quite a good option for the dot-like permanent applying.

Reflective spray paint is usually available only in one color, white. Other ones are rare. Why? The answer you will get while reading about canned light-reflective paint.

Standard light-reflective paint in cans.

At first glance, classic paint in cans doesn’t seem as efficient as spray paint. But in fact, Noxton  reflective paint fits for  applying with a brush, a roll, an airbrush.
On average, 0.5 l of paint covers 5 sq m, and 1 l – up to 10 sq m.

So, what is the difference, except practical matters and applying techniques?

The difference is about the light-reflective effect. Reducing reflective components to small particles makes spraying possible. Small particles and high pressure in an aerosol can make applying paint efficient, but the reflective effect becomes much lower.
On the contrary canned light-reflective paint has the most  appropriate grain of prismatic micro-particles for the best retroreflectivity.

We use reflective effect mainly for safety, so we have chosen the brand with the highest reflectivity.

Our product range contains Noxton light-reflective paint for various surfaces. You will surely get an applying guide with a can. White, yellow, red, green, and blue colors are available.
Let’s sum up the advantages of each option.
