A retroreflective sticker consists of the backing (which is in contact with an iron) and a reflective layer that is transferred to the fabric. That is the side that has to fit the fabric closely during the heat transfer. The main steps are:
- To place the sticker on a fabric item smoothly;
- To heat an iron to 150 °C (dry ironing);
- To iron the sticker for 15 seconds and remove the backing in 5 seconds after the heat transfer;
- To make sure that the edges of a reflective sticker are fixed properly without any tears;
